Aloe Vera Powder is extracted from the hollow inner leaf of the Aloe plant and is freeze-dried to create a powder. It is water-soluble and makes a great addition to the manufacture of cosmetics (as opposed to Aloe Vera Gel which is harder to incorporate). Aloe Vera Powder is also a great natural substitute for plant food - just mix one part powder to 200 parts water..
