The One Good Thing Fund is distributed annually across each of these 9 initiatives. Be it a charity that we believe is doing excellent work in areas of importance or research projects to help us better our industry and our service to the planet. Mother earth needs our help across so many areas. From its preserving and protecting her resources to looking after her inhabitants. There are so many things to achieve though if we can all do just One Good Thing we can see a difference.

Below are nine initiatives that we are dedicated to doing One Good Thing for. We encourage our earthYARDian friends to read more about these issues and why we believe they are of upmost importance. From ensuring every human has equal opportunity and voice to nurturing those that need help to care for themselves. We've kickstarted our fund with $1 for every order we've EVER shipped and now we're turning it over to you dear friends to help us with our mission. Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails a high-quality, age-appropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family. Countless parents have shared how excited their child is when their new book arrives each month. Many groups and individuals work hard behind the scenes to make that special moment possible for each child.

Gunawirra
Identification of a need for early intervention and a multi-disciplinary approach focused on supporting child development in the first five years of life. Understanding and caring for the individual needs of the mother and the child is at the forefront of Gunawirra. Working to heal trauma and developing a capacity to learn is at the core of Gunawirra’s work across their Young Aboriginal Mothers Group and the 26 preschool communities they support.

Escaping Domestic Violence
One in three women in Australia have experienced physical and/or sexual violence. RizeUp helps victims of abuse to urgent supplies and care including emergency relocation. RizeUp also sets up homes and furnishings, childrens education supplies and more. Everyone has the right to a fresh start and a bit of help along the way.

Our farmers are our biggest asset in this country and we need to make sure they're supported in every way possible. Droughts and floods are just two of the devastating events that can impact how our farming communities live which is why we support Foodbank Australia to get critical supplies to those in need.

Plastic reduction
We choose to reuse, recycle, reinvent and reimagine our plastic usage which is why we have implemented a free packaging returns program. Returned plastics get washed and either sent to our friends to be turned into awesome stuff like playground equipment, new products or even new packaging that we can buy back.
