This nourishing facial oil serum using mother earth's best will have you singing to the high heavens whilst protecting your face against the biting winds of Winter (sing louder Louise!).
About the Ingredients
Avocado Oil is rich in essential and trace minerals making it the perfect nourishing base for this serum. Fractionated Coconut Oil is still high in emollients, deeply nourishing, rich in fatty acids and may be anti-bacterial and anti-fungal - all great for keeping skin hydrated and healthy.
Antioxidant-rich Carrot Seed Oil helps to hydrate and protect against free radicals that can have an ageing effect on the skin. Lemon Oil cleanses and brightens with Vitamin C and Peppermint helps to soothe irritation.
Blend together all carrier oils into a small mixing jug or bowl.
Add your essential oil drops.
Mix well and pour into a 100mL bottle for storage.
Use
Apply a few drops morning and night to a clean and dry face.
Recipe Note
Don't forget that Coconut Oil hardens in the cold, to soften, place bottle (lid closed) in a bowl of hot water - shake occasionally. Once combined with the other ingredients Coconut Oil should remain as a liquid. If it gets REALLY cold you can slowly bring the cleanser mixture to room temperature via the same method above.
