About the Ingredients:

Green Tea Extract - Green Tea Extract is a powerful anti-oxidant making it a popular addition to skin care and cosmetics. The extract comes from the green tea leaf and is high in minerals and vitamins that assists skin repair and regeneration. It has a soothing effect and is a welcome ingredient for sensitive skin.

Witch Hazel Extract - Witch Hazel extract is a common anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory that is popular for treating sores and swelling. It is also widely used as in skin care and as a cosmetic remover.

Our Witch Hazel extract is alcohol extracted. Once extracted the solution is heated to remove excess alcohol residue leaving at most 14% alcohol left.

Manuka Honey - Manuka Honey is highly anti-inflammatory in nature which works to reduce sore and red blemishes as well as being high in anti-bacterial properties that reduce the amount of blemish causing bacteria on the skin.

Solubilizer - Natural solubilizers are needed to disperse oil into water and stops the oil from separating. Currently earthYARD doesn't stock these though they are easily found online through soap making supply companies.

Kaolin Clay -  Kaolinite is a clay mineral found all over the world though ours is from South Australia. Kaolin has even made its way into the paper industry, medical industry and even into pottery. Kaolin is perfect for drawing out impurities and toxins from the pores. It's soothing and gentle on redness, it's a great exfoliant and can stimulate and tone the skin.
